First, we have our Promotion Ceremony on Saturday, November 19th at 2:00pm. We’re ready to host one of our biggest ceremonies ever! Not to mention, six people are eligible to test for black belt!
In addition, the dojo is closed Wednesday, November 23rd through Sunday the 27th for Thanksgiving. Please take time to enjoy with your families as we do the same. We’ll see you Monday the 28th!
Next, our new hoodies come in mid November. As soon as they arrive, we’ll deliver them to you!

Mr. Swann is one of our assistant instructors and resident organization perfectionist. He helps make sure people who are eligible for rank promotion are properly recognized by the lead instructors. Here’s what he has to say!
Whenever you work at your goals, work your hardest towards making it the best that you can. There is always room to improve, even if you don’t see it at first.
As you work at your goals, be as committed as possible to achieve them, even if that means sacrificing some things in your life to achieve them.
Your goals matter. To achieve them, not only must you be committed and strive for excellence, but also to show optimism towards that goal. The more optimistic you are, the easier it is to achieve that goal.
This month, keep those three things in mind. We will be teaching these ideas this month in class.
