Our 9 year old granddaughter has been @ the school for nearly 2 years and continues to be taught well and is advancing steadily. They are very thoughtful and alert to each of their students. There is a great ratio of instructors to students. They communicate well with the parents about the students’ skill set & offer opportunities for them to take on new things. They have asked Avery to be on the Demo team so, if she feels she’s up to it, is another recognition on their behalf to srudents

Our kids have trained at the dojo for almost 7 years. They love their “karate family,” and Karate International has been a place where they can go and see friends and their instructors and feel like everyone is glad to see them and that they are cared about. Beyond the physical activity benefits, the social benefits for our kids is equally as important. My husband started training their after our daughters started. We also hosted our youngest’s birthday party there this weekend, and it was one of the best parties she’s had. Mr. Tsikos and Mr. Rowe handled everything (including all decorations, goodie bags, games, and clean up!), and the kids had a terrific time. It was the perfect party set up for a group of very active boys and girls.

This is a great place to bring your kids. They are so inclusive and accommodating, that it makes you trust your kids arein great hands. My son had his first class, was a hyperactive little mess, but you’d never have known that with how well the instructors did with him. He has a new love, and it is helping us with his ability to focus and control his impulses. This is excellent for anyone who needs help with providing structure and discipline.

Karate Classes at Baileywick Park

We are excited to announce we will be offering two karate classes per week at Baileywick Road Park! Park classes begin Tuesday, May 26th in addition to the virtual classes and private lessons! The virtual class times will remain the same, so you can choose to attend a class at the park, or attend a virtual class. Classes at the park will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week until we are able to open the dojo. You will be notified of cancellations due to weather.


Baileywick Road Park- 9501 Baileywick Road, Raleigh. Classes will take place in the field that is to the right of the parking lot.




4:30-5:15pm Beginner Karate

5:30-6:15pm Intermediate/Advanced Karate

6:30-7:15pm Teen/Adult Karate



– Please wear a Karate International t-shirt with athletic shorts and sneakers. Bring a water bottle too! If you don’t have a KI t-shirt just wear any other shirt. You do not need to wear your belt.

-Students will be spaced at a minimum of 6 feet apart at all times.

– This will be a no contact environment. Games and any other activities will be modified to accommodate all phase two guidelines.

– Masks are not required. If you choose to wear a mask, please bring your own.

– Classes will follow all phase two guidelines. This includes group size and distance requirements.

– Parents cannot be a part of the “group”. Please do not congregate around the class.



You must have the Karate International App to sign up for park classes.

Class sizes will be limited, you must sign up for the class to attend at the park. Once the class is full, the system will not allow anyone else to sign up.
